C I P E L A    M A N S I O N

The birth of Cipela Mansion in March 2019 is the culmination of the evolutionary journey that Hidayah Hassan and her predominantly all-female power team had undergone for the past 6 years in the fashion – particularly shoe – industry. The evolutionary journey undertaken by the team through Nurhidhas Sdn Bhd included modest female fashion through Hidy, exclusive handcrafted footwear through Cipela and Merrack & Co, as well as numerous collaborations namely with Sereni & Shentel, Innaired, Kim Raymond, Isetan Malaysia and Monroe of Pakistan.

Through these experiences, understanding of market research as well as feedback from its diverse customer base, the team has undergone immense growth in their design in both the creative and functional aspects. Coupled with their mutual passion to continuously innovate and contribute towards a growing economy, Cipela Mansion was born.

Cipela Mansion, a private limited Malaysian company, seeks to capture the best of the many skills, backgrounds and interests of its team, collaborators and contributors to create and nurture brands that cater to not only girls and women, but to children and men; brands that not only serve the girly girls but also the sensible Marys, that are bespoke and exclusive as well as those that are for the high street; to create not just fashion but also lifestyle products that not only look great but feel great. The team has retained the wildly successful Cipela brand, and with the transition to Cipela Mansion in 2019, will be introducing Ella – a younger, high street version of the established Cipela; as well as a fresh new venture into not just fashion but lifestyle products through E.

 

In light of the pressing matter of climate change and gender discrimination, Cipela Mansion also supports the use of sustainable and local resources in the sale and making of its products and other business activities wherever possible, as well as the empowerment of women through collaborations with other female entrepreneurs and contributors.

CIPELA | Cipela by Hidayah Hassan

Established in 2011, Cipela is a shoe design house that produces beautifully handcrafted footwear from Malaysia, with clientele from around the world. From everyday, work, evening and bridal wear to exquisite bespoke designs, Cipela showcases the best of Malaysian craftsmanship and unique textiles while maintaining traditional design sensibilities as well as use of classic materials. Cipela's charm lies in its clever use of fabrics and designs to highlight distinctive textures and patterns in local textile arts, creating a look that is altogether relaxed, effortlessly luxurious and uniquely stylish.

ELLA | Ella by Cipela

A little younger, a little sweeter. Ella is Cipela’s baby sister shoe brand with all her exuberance and embellishments of glamour in a range of handcrafted, effortlessly luxurious shoes, but just a touch. Made for the girl-woman about town who boldly puts her best foot forward, with frills, vibrant colours and all. Priced for the high street, Ella makes the entry-level twenties oh-so-grown up, and lends a feminine, youthful charm to the empowered thirtysomethings.

MÄ€CERA | pronounced as Maa-je-ra

WARONG SYAZA | by Syaza Yunos

Warong Syaza was a little project Syaza Yunos started in 2017 that has now been recognized (a little bit more than 2017)by the locals here in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Syaza combined her imagination for what unites us Malaysians – local food, and her undying love for exploring different methods of art mediums. With Warong Syaza, she pursued the medium of Graphic Art with the topic of local food.

Warong Syaza started as a little social experiment where Syaza wanted to show that with all the different ethnicities in Malaysia, we all ate the same food and we are very proud of how delicious our local food is. Mostly influenced by the question “Makan mana?” (Where to eat?) and “Makan apa?” (What to eat?), Syaza and her
team at Warong Syaza starts with answering the question, sketching it out on a pad and turning it into products.
